Cancellation Policy

Terms and Conditions for The Bearded Speaker 1. Quotation Validity This quotation is valid for 30 days from the date of issue. 2. Booking Confirmation 2.1 A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. 2.2 The balance must be paid 7 days before the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing. 3. Event Cancellation and Postponement 3.1 If the client cancels the booking: -More than 30 days before the event: No additional fees beyond the deposit. -Less than 30 days before the event: 50% of the total fee will be charged. 3.2 If the client postpones the event: -Rescheduling is allowed within 90 days of the original date, subject to availability, at no additional cost. 4. Travel and Accommodation For events outside Windhoek, Namibia: - Travel costs (flights or fuel) and accommodation must be covered by the client and will be invoiced separately unless otherwise agreed. - Meals and transportation to/from the venue must be provided or reimbursed by the client. 5. Event Requirements The client is responsible for providing: 5.1 A suitable venue with necessary audiovisual equipment (e.g., microphones, projector, screen). 5.2 A quiet, private area for preparation before the event. 6. Recording and Media Usage 6.1 Recording of the session or use of the speaker's materials for commercial purposes is prohibited without prior written consent. 6.2 The Bearded Speaker retains the rights to all presentation content unless otherwise agreed in writing. 7. Force Majeure The Bearded Speaker is not liable for delays or non-performance due to unforeseen circumstances beyond control, such as illness, travel disruptions, or emergencies. 8. Liability The Bearded Speaker’s total liability for any claims arising under this agreement is limited to the fees paid by the client. 9. Feedback and Testimonials The Bearded Speaker reserves the right to request client feedback and use testimonials for promotional purposes, with prior client approval. 10. Acceptance of Terms Confirmation of the booking constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
